Welcome to Shelley Signs a leading supplier of signs that are tough, robust and ideal for the challenging environments so often associated with public parks.

No park is the same and therefore any supplier of park entrance signs must offer a highly adaptable and versatile solution covering a wide selection of materials, framing structures and materials. Whether you run a major urban park or a small ‘pocket park’ Shelley Signs offer solutions that encompass full-colour digital prints encapsulated into Glass Reinforced Plastic to routed timber plaques for a low key entrance.

Large urban park signs for entrances usually incorporate welcome signs with a map of the park, a separate header panel and lockable display cases or notice boards. Shelley Signs normally recommend Glass Reinforced Plastic as an ideal solution for the printed component of a park entrance sign. GRP is tough, robust, and offers excellent colour fastness – impact resistance is good and graffiti can easily be cleaned from the surface.  GRP is suitable for both the printed component of the entrance signs and the header panels.

The notice board or display case section of a park entrance sign is produced in either aluminium or timber – oak or softwood. Regardless of the material, all cases are hinged, lockable, glazed with shatterproof polycarbonate and supplied with a pinboard backer.

Smaller parks require a very different style of entrance signs – often small park entrance signs need to be discreet and unobtrusive. Timber can be an ideal solution for these entrance signs to parks. Timber entrance signs can be supplied either as routed timber or with tactile sandblasted graphics. A further advantage of wooden park entrance signs is the ability to cut and shaper the material on our CNC routers. Shaped entrance signs mean parks can be signed with any shape of sign your imagination runs to – animal shapes, for example, kingfisher cut out shapes are very popular.

Park entrances also need byelaws signs, directional signs and interpretive signs. Shelley Signs design and produces all these items for parks – please refer to our detailed website for full information on our products and services.
In summary, whether you are looking for entrance signs for a large urban park or a small rural open space Shelley Signs have a range of solutions to meet your demands and expectations.
