Local Authorities

We work with Councils across the country on a wide range of projects ranging from resigning a complete park, to a single interpretation panel in a pocket park, lockable notices in public open spaces or dog control signs. Standard building and regulation signs extend our range and take advantage of our robust, durable and vandal proof sign options.

It was produced from a mix of artwork supplied and Shelley created graphics with special 3 leg lectern frames to match previous signage. All interpretation panels produced in GRP.

Design & Artwork

Whatever the size of your project we can either produce signs and panels from your own electronic artwork or you can employ our in-house design team to create the designs. While we have particular expertise in the design of interpretive panels and park entrance signs these skills extend across requirements for all types of outdoor signage. Our design skills include overall design & layout, creating the artwork for maps, both flat style and a bird’s eye view style together with supplying photographs and illustrations – we have a huge library of natural history water colour illustrations and can supply both historical and archaeological watercolour illustrations when required.

Materials

We can work in a wide variety of materials but will normally recommend our encapsulated Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) material for outdoor graphics and signage. GRP offers great quality print with bright, vibrant graphics allied with the benefits of vandal protection and UV filters for extensive life and colour fastness.

Framing

We work with a wide variety of framing structures in timber (oak and pressure treated softwood) as well as steel to produce both lectern frames, vertical post mounted structures, wall mounted units and a wide variety of frames for unusual and highly individual applications. It is always difficult to select specific examples but these provide a flavour of the range of products we supply across a broad spectrum of local authority clients.
