Full colour printed graphics are used, especially where plans of each hole are to be displayed.  For ease of cleaning we usually recommend our robust and durable Glass Reinforced Plastic, GRP or G.R.P. material.  This is the same material as used for park entrance signs, interpretive panels and other outdoor signs in challenging environments.  For golf course signage this material meets all durability needs and is easy and adaptable to frame.  A common question with full colour golf course signs incorporating maps and plans of each hole is the preparation of artwork.  Shelley Signs have a full design team in house and can prepare all artwork from your roughs and outline pencil sketches.
Sandblasted timber is another popular material for golf course signs and tee markers.  Big, solid and substantial planks of cedar or oak result in distinctive signs with tactile graphics.
Slate and stone provide a further interesting option for Tee markers and general golf course signs – the routed graphics are very hardwearing and provide an option to be very individual.
